The Campaign for MMP is committed to open public debate on our electoral system.  Major constitutional issues require informed public debate and informed decisions by citizens.  To make it easier for citizens to engage on the issues around MMP, we have collected together a range of resources which explain the referendum process, the options available, and the benefits of proportional representation.

About the referendum process

• Outline of the referendum process from the Ministry of Justice is here.
• Next year New Zealanders will get a new vote on MMP. We can choose to keep it or toss it. And we can choose what we want as a replacement. The Southland Times investigates. (11 December, 2010).
